NPC Base ID?
I want to have a little bit of fun for Fallout 4 and the best way for me is to spawn in NPCs like deathclaws, raiders, etc and to watch them fight to the death. I did this to the other fallout games and it was heaven. I can't seem to find any of the NPC base ids anywhere and I'm getting a bit anxious about it. Please tell me how i could find the base ids for NPCs and so i can spawn them in anytime I want.

Cheers!

Alrighty, here's a quick a dirty tutorial

Let's say you're looking to spawn a Minuteman

Bring up the console, and type, without quotation marks, "help minuteman 0"
It will then generate a list of items, quests, and npc's containing the word Minuteman. We'll grab one of the NPC's, the one that goes by 000AA78E

Next, we'll spawn a few in, say 4. Type, again without quotations, player.placeatme 000AA78E 4
You'll notice the 4 at the end, separated by a space, that's the number we want. This can be a different number.

If you decide to then bring in a few mutants to fight or something, consider typing "tai", which toggles the ai off/on, so they won't all start pounding on the target they've spawned around (you).

You can search for any keywords this way. Raider, deathclaw, gunner, etc. You can also searh items this way and spawn them using the same method (player.placeatme ###### #)

OH AND ALSO!
00's are the codes you wanna use. The FF codes are naked templates. Scroll up till you find them*

Have Fun!

(PS, I acknowledge that with previous Fallout* experience, the Original Poster might know most / all of this already. But for those that aren't aware, this is for you)

(PPS, you may need to scroll up using mousewheel or pageup to see the codes.)

(PPPS, make sure you don't have anything selected)

I don't know why but the "help minutemen 0" will not show NPC base ids for me. raider and others work and I get all the faction data from the minutemen help but it seems to omit the npc data.

Search Minuteman instead (man not men) I made the same mistake too!

lol thanks

so... 2 zeros before a ID seems to for spacific levels and FF is for face data. 3 zero IDs are the ones that draw on the other to ID types to to give you a properly leveled (compared to you +/- a few levels) and a random face. if you spawn a 2 zero ID it will have a generic face but will be geared for that level(spacific to the id). spawning a FF will look like a abomination with no gear and level one because its only for face data.

Everytime i do this command on any NPC my game crashes (YES I REPLACED THE NAME)

also, how do i do this command on NPCs who have more than one word in their name?
