Let's say you're looking to spawn a Minuteman
Bring up the console, and type, without quotation marks, "help minuteman 0"
It will then generate a list of items, quests, and npc's containing the word Minuteman. We'll grab one of the NPC's, the one that goes by 000AA78E
Next, we'll spawn a few in, say 4. Type, again without quotations, player.placeatme 000AA78E 4
You'll notice the 4 at the end, separated by a space, that's the number we want. This can be a different number.
If you decide to then bring in a few mutants to fight or something, consider typing "tai", which toggles the ai off/on, so they won't all start pounding on the target they've spawned around (you).
You can search for any keywords this way. Raider, deathclaw, gunner, etc. You can also searh items this way and spawn them using the same method (player.placeatme ###### #)
OH AND ALSO!
00's are the codes you wanna use. The FF codes are naked templates. Scroll up till you find them*
Have Fun!
(PS, I acknowledge that with previous Fallout* experience, the Original Poster might know most / all of this already. But for those that aren't aware, this is for you)
-Duck
(PPPS, make sure you don't have anything selected)
-Duck, again
Cheers!
Firewarmarine
also, how do i do this command on NPCs who have more than one word in their name?
