The Lost Patrol (stuck + spoilers)

I seem to be stuck on this mission, and have no clue how to contiune. SPOILERS NEXT I've watched videos even and it seems I'm not getting the same things others are. I've listened to Scribe Faris' Holotape, Folowed the radio distress signal, investegated the Satelite Array, Listened to Knight Astlin's Holotape, investigated the battle site, but it says I need to search for another distrress signal and I already found one. Anyone able to help, thank you.

The last one is up north. You should have found the bunker code on the second dead guy.

When you say up north, is that RIGHT by the bunker or another complete dif location? I went to the bunker, and saw no enemies and couldn't open the bunker door without the code. Thank you for your help. Trying to get this one done is killing me.

I fail, guess I missed the first tape -.- I re traced my steps and got it now, thank you for the help :)

i think i encountered a bug with this quest, i've sucessfully completed all the objectives and now have to turn the quest in to paladin danse but since paladin danse is my follower (although he wasn't following me when i went to turn the quest in) i'm not getting a promt to report the quest as finished, any one else having this problem? anyone know what i should do to fix it?

Same issue, and it's not just with him, its with all followers that you turn quests into from what I've seen so far. The reporter girl in Diamond City won't let you start "Story of the Century" if you've gotten to the point where she's an available follower.

I got stuck on this quest after i found faris holotape, I didn't get next objective. "SetStage 000b1b79 90" fixed it and i get to continue the quest

I was also stuck after listening to Scribe Faris' Holotape and this worked for me. The only thing is you have to type the correct quest ID which is 000b1d79. So the command is

SetStage 000b1d79 90

I'm also having trouble with this quest. My problem is I'm getting dominated by the mutants at the satellite array! I can't even kill one of them! I'm only level 12 though. Am I too low to be trying this quest?

definetly too low. super mutes can get super tough if you only have pipe guns too, so make sure to get a bigger gun

in my case, i'm stuck on the progress saying that i have to investigate the Revere Satelite array, with the quest marker pointing at Faris (even after i looted him). I'm guessing it's because of a missing item (the recon bunker code stated below)

here's my fix. type in the console this line if you're stuck on Faris too:
setstage 000b1d79 90

000b1d79 is the quest ID
90 is the stage number indicating that you've passed the objective of checking out Faris. you should get a recon bunker access code if you have the same problem as me (recon bunker code missing from Faris's body)

u must collect the distress becons that are sometimes beneth, not in, the corpses. when u have collected all 3 u get the part where u must wander to the bunker north.

thing is, i did. that's why i just console bypass it since it's not going to change anything looking at Faris's dead body since i already picked up the beacon anyway

Hello, i have stucked on this quest for a long time now. I tried many videos and tips, but still not able got throught the Bunker Door.
I have found Scribe Faris and listened his holotape. BUT i didn't get the quest update nor the Code for bunker.
When I look at the DATA>LOST PATROL> it says that next thing i need to do is:
"Search for other distress signals" (In the National Guard Training Yard, I found the remains of a soldier. If I search the area, I may be able to learn what happened to the rest of her squad)
I don't know what i am suppose to do next to get the quest line done... really annoying

In RADIO section I see 3 different "Distress Signals", all are gray

At the moment i am at LVL 40, so if I load way back to the first time of the quest i will propably lose more than 20LVLs.

I searched for hours on survival the satellite array crouching and avoiding legendary Super Mutants to find that stupid body and his freakin holotape. Guess what. He fell out from the initial shack he died in.
