Anyone else's "Tab" key getting stuck?
In case you changed your key bindings, I mean the key that exits menus and brings up the Pip-boy. Every other key works fine, though. Looks like a bug. I can get around it easily by minimizing the game and returning in 5 seconds, but I don't want my patience to wear thin due to repeating that every hour or so.

I suppose I should be thankful though - my games hasn't crashed once since starting it up.

If your tab key gets stuck for the pip boy, just tap M, it opens the pip boy map, and after you leave the pip boy menu your tab key will work again.

I've had this same problem. Can't get out of the Pipboy menu because Tab is unresponsive. If I'm outdoors, I just go to the map and fast travel. That sometimes fixes it. A couple times I had to reload an older save to fix it.
It does seem to be some sort of bug.

Shift + tab and exit steam overlay do the trick too

Using or have the pipboy app turned on by chance?

Same problem.

My tab key only gets stuck after bringing up steam overlay, press shift again to release the sticky modifier that seems to happen and tab works like a charm every time. It's a common interface glitch with steam on some games, not just Bethesda titles. Put the pitchforks down Witcher fans.
Shift + Tab? Well, it beats minimizing. Here's hoping we don't have to deal with this for too long. Maybe if I change the key....

"K" also works for opening and closing the Pip-Boy :)

Or it does for me at least.

It isnt the TAB key. You can remap it and it still doesnt work. Its the PIP BOY. Right now I am stuck in mine and cant do a damn thing. Has happened a number of times.

This fixed it for me.
My tab key died right when I was fighting something, and couldn't open the pipboy to heal or switch weapons
(..and I don't use the favorites thing because its unintuitive as heck)

Overlay seems to be the problem, since my TAB broke when i was chatting with my friend (SHIFT-TABING much). I don't really see it as a rare problem (had this happen in a lot of games, last one was ARK where i was stuck in 3rd person) and often it's because you use the key out of focus and software gets confused. In this case it's easy fix - SHIFT+TAB and out to get back the TAB control. For other games it requires you to tmp remap the key and set it back to what it was.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. love. you.

I have been dealing with the tab problem forever, and usually managed to fiddle it away, but this... this works every damn time.
