Where oh where has my little Dogmeat gone?

I sent him to Sanctuary Hill, and havent seen him since. Now I need him to continue the main story, and can;t find him.

Yea people have reported missing companions at Sanctuary when given the command to wait there.

First house on your right when you enter over the bridge should have a dog house in the back. If not then wait for a bit in a bed and see if he turns up there. Failing that put " player.moveto 1D162 " into the console and you'll teleport to him.

Everyone else is there, its only Dogmeat who I cant find. Though sometimes Strong spawns on a roof.

there are several dog houses in sanctuary. Dogmeat seems to pick one at random. Your best bet is to find the 3 (possibly 4) other doghouses and trash them, then build one yourself and place it somewhere. Then leave sanctuary and then return. Dogmeat should now be in the doghouse you made. If not there are threads on how to return dogmeat to you via the console.

Pretty much what they said....if u want Dogmeat around where you can see him...try scrapping all the dog houses in the area and just take one of them and place it closer to the other settlers.
