As it is, you choose between giving the serum away and getting a room or . . . not and taking a 10 HP hit. There's hardly a choice between living with a minor cough and letting someone die.
That's a persistent night vision effect. Do a search for how to remove the night vision effect and you'll be good-to-go.
It's fixed now, and I don't mind losing 10 hp, it's pretty much nothing compared to saving the kids life. You selfish bastards who didn't save him :D
