You can find what program crashed your computer there. It will also tell you what caused a program to stop responding. It may be a bit cryptic though. You will probably have to do some research on the answer you find.
with mods crashing the game there is a growing list of must have mods that will cause crashing of the game after progressing through the game for a while. more spawns will, its a bug in the script, home maker and others. give mods a while to get the kinks worked out fully. stay lite with your mods. some like home maker will cause save data corruption and the only save that loads is quite aways back. make a new save often, dont just quicksave all the time.
who knows, maybe someone will mod that in. now tho, i'm just enjoying my immediate CTD the moment my save loads
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=0
bEnableTrace=0
bLoadDebugInformation=0
in fallout4.ini , =1 enables them ,
f4se also has a builtin logging function that can be toggled on ,
and fo4edit gives a detailed report on yhe games state
sorry i dont quite get what you mean there
to clarify, here's the thing you need to put in Fallout4.ini for a crash log. paste this under the [Papyrus] category, or change the last 3 lines (bEnableLogging, bEnableTrace, bLoadDebugInformation) to =1:
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1
if the system is the same as Skyrim (which it should be), there should be a Logs file with the crash log made in the Documents-->My Games-->Fallout4 file
