Numerous Vault 81 issues?

Anyone else having problems advancing quests in Vault 81?

I can't talk to the overseer after the first time, I gave a blood sample to Doc Forsythe, (btw wouldn't a sample from someone NOT actually from the commonwealth populace render his experiement pointless?) found the cat, spoke to the class, ate the fruit from the botanist, and offered to help get fertilizer. Bought some at the vault store, can't talk to her to give it to her either.

Also, like others, I cannot find Calvin.

I have issues where Austin is supposed to be giving me a tour. He took me to see Gran and after that he mentioned taking me to his friend Erin. Instead he went into the classroom and sat at one of the desks. Now he won't leave.

I then talked to Katie, and agreed to tell the kids stories about the Common Wealth. The quest says for me to speak to her again but all she says is how excited she is for the kids to hear the stories. The quest doesn't move forward. Very aggrivating.

I reloaded my save before I did anything here and repeated. No change. Still can't talk to the overseer and start the next quest or turn in the fertilizer.

leave the area for about a day, it will start the next bit of missions for vault 81

I actually reloaded my save before starting the quest and it worked for me at least.

i can't even access vault 81!

Oh god yes. The entirety of Vault 81 seems to be loaded with bugs, some of which prevent the completion of quests. Which is odd, since for me everything else in the game has been pretty low on bugs up until vault 81. Nearly lost my mind there.

Vault 81 worked flawlessly for me without a single bug/error/problem.

Exactly the same. Calvin became "citizen 5". Cant sell fertilezer to doctor. Dont have a tour in the begining.

Yeah, Vault 81 seems quite buggy.

Had issues not finding Calvin, fixed it by using this method;
1. open console.
2. type "Prid 00153855" press enter.
3. type "// moveto player" press enter.
Without quotation marks obviously.

I still can't talk to Dr. Penske.

That's a lotta bugs til now
but I even got a new one.

When returning to the Vault with the cure for Austin, Katy is dead, decapitated in her room.
For absolutely no reason.

Thank god I've already
finished her quest.

EDIT: Austins Mother is also dead .__.

The lvl 4 trader and settler NPC from 81 are glitched. If the boy glitches during the tour, restart, as it screws up the main 81 quest. The enitre quest triggering, seems really haphazard, I've run through it a few times, it seems to randomly trigger, sometimes before it should, sometimes it takes longer, pretty weird.

I finished everything perfectly...no problem...saved everyone...even avoided getting sick myself...then half the vault calls me a child killer and guy on the radio talks about a plague that wiped everyone out... ... ...

When I came back later, everything was fine quest wise. However I still couldn't give Penske the fertilizer(or even open proper dialogue) and Calvin is still MIA.

I'm almost to vault 81 in my game, I will find out what happens for me eventually

If you are on pc and still having an issue getting DR Penske to even prompt when you have a bag's of fertiliser. I just did this and it worked. So this is only for PC sorry console guys I opened console clicked on the good doctor and ran the command openactorcontainer 1 which allows you to access her equipment much the same was as trading does for settlers. I then put 1 bad of fertiliser into her backpack and excited trade. I was then able to talk to her and sell the bags of fertiliser I had gotten for the silly AI. I have yet to test if this works after hole in the wall.
