How do you reduce the draw distance
My graphics card is garbage and can barely run FO4, I'm usually averaging around 1-5 fps in a city such as Lexington or Cambridge ; Any way to reduce the draw distance radius so it doesn't load so much stuff?

Mine is still the lowest and still runs like garbage, any other ways?

If you don't have at least the 550 Ti in the minumum (Or Radeon HD 6850 perhaps) game will be not playable. Also, you need 2GB VRAM for it to not stutter with decent textures

I understand all that, but I need to know if there's a way to adjust the radius to make it in a smaller area.

Try looking for .ini tweaks online. They can go higher than the default range, but also lower.

I suggest using mods that help performance optimization and texture like Vivid Fallout but unless your computer is way too weak. You shouldn't play this game continuously, it might damage your cpu for running at max performance in long sequences.

Whatever you try is unlikely to work as Lexington and Concord are lightweight areas compared to the CBD. But videos on youtube are the best place to look. Draw distance reduction won't increase much by itself. Like this -

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb_5MU5NTRg&t=302s

Some methods -
Use lightweight textures.
Reduce ugrids to 3 in the inis.
Edit ini files to reduce draw distances manually. The launcher does this but using the minimum or maximum just uses preset values. You can go lower and higher with manual editing.
Turn off grass using the console.
Turn off trees might work but I don't think it does.
Turn off as many graphic effects completely via inis and mods.

Should be about 1GB.

I suggest looking for a new GTX 1050TI (if one can find them) or on eBay for a GTX 750TI until the GPU market has recovered (this could take another year). Or try every single performance mod on NexusMods to see which help:
