"comic books?"
Do I need to carry things like "Grognak the Barbarian" on me, to get their benefits? Or do I get to stash them in a container once I've gotten the benefit from them?

Once you pick it up you gain its power, same thing with bobbleheads.

No, when you first read them you get the bonus, you don't even have to pick them up in the first place(just read them) never mind carry them.

I bought a comic book stand and placed it in my house with all my comic books. Looks cool. Either that or you could sell them :)

Dont stash them in containers build a magazine shelf looks better. Same as bobbleheads.

In any of the settlements you control you can build a magazine rack to place them on, which I really liked.
