Anyone else have really quiet audio?
This isnt a bug. But the games audio is just SUPER quiet for me. Like I can barely hear what this guy is rambling about. And my volume is at 30-40. Most games 30 is too loud for me.

Realtek, yes. I'll go look at that.

Happens to me on every game that is made for console. Must be some library they are using. PC only games don't have this problem. I don't have Realtek. I am using a MOTU Microbook II Audio Interface for studio sound.

I had this problem and for some reason FO4 changed my speaker settings to 5.1 and i switched it back to stereo and that fixed it since i dont have 5.1 speakers .

Realtek here, too. I alerady had loudness eq on, but thanks, I checked anyway just to be sure.

I just wanted to make a general note, about something with this mobo/chip, that I tried and thought I wouldn't be allowed to do; I have two pairs of the same speakers (woofer and two speaker system), so I plugged one pair in the Front jack, and one in the Rear, set it to Quadrophonic Surround, and it works! Just for those who, like me, are stupid about what you can get away with wrt this newfangled stuff.

This fixed my problem on Windows 11
Go to system>sound>volume mixer. Where it says Apps click Steam. Change the output device to Speakers Realtek instead of Default.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
