Power Armor Glitch

I use power armor quite often and hardly get out but whenever I do it seems as though the game thinks i'm still in the armor. For example I cant see my pip-boy ui making it useless outside of the power armor. Since I cant sit down I am stuck at the part where you have to use the VR thing in the Memory Den in the main quest line. Any help or temp fixes will help.

I'm having the same problem. It seems to be related to a bug where your PipBoy doesn't show up when outside of a suit of Power Armor, but the bar along the bottom is still there. This happens because the game thinks you're in a suit, so the custom Power Armor PipBoy interface should pop up, but it doesn't since you're not really in a suit.

The prompt you seem to get at the memory den is that you can't use the chair while in a suit of armor, even if you're not in one, so this seems to be the same bug causing multiple problems.

I fixed it by just starting a new game but now i'm afraid to use power armor because I don't want all of my progress to be lost.

I have same problem. But I dont want to play it again :(. Help someone. I find out that i thinks I am in power armor, because punching sound is as in power armor.

Heres your answer, it work for me. It was doing same thingm pip boy wasnt showing up, i couldnt run with SHIFT because it appear i was still in my power suit. I was also able to take over 330 pounds of stuck. After i tried this, back to normal and pip boy appear again !


If the Pip-Boy becomes invisible after you exit power armor, you can fix this by exiting the power armor, going to a workbench, transferring over whatever clothes your character is currently wearing, then get back into the power armor and exit it again. Your Pip-Boy should now start working again and you can re-equip your clothes from the workstation. [verified]

I can confirm (with great pleasure) that the above solution works. Just store your clothes in a workbench, go into your power armor and activate your pip boy and get back out of your power armor. Everything should be back to normal.

I can't seem to exit the my power armor. Whenever I try, my pipboy disappears, and i can't move, but can still turn my head. HELP

FIX: This thing happens me sometimes even when not in power armor but i fix it by: Scrolling to third person and back to first person or pressing shift + tab or saveing game and loading it again. Those three things works for me.
