Did they make the basic wall corner backwards?
So trying to build just a simple structure with walls, the way their system works it seems you can't just place walls on all sides, you have to use corner pieces as the walls won't attach in the "L" configuration. Which would be fine except it seems like their corner piece has the textures on backwards, that is to say the framing part that should be on the inside is on the outside and the part that should be outside is inside. This is just on the basic two wall corner piece, that one with no flooring or anything attached to it, like if you wanted to build just a standared 4 sided house.

I also wish they would have set it up so that you can snap those pieces to the corners of the foundation, as it stands the build system isn't really much for fine tuning and the camera makes it hard to see what you're trying to do a lot of the time. Just a lot is getting on my nerves as I'm trying to build stuff, they are small things but if you QA'd this system for 10 minutes I don't see how this wouldn't come up 100 times and just get addressed then.

I'm having this same problem. I can't seem to put an L piece on top of a foundation. Can it be done, or do my corners have to float above the ground? Is there another type of L that I can make besides the basic wood or steel ones?

I had this same opinion drove me nuts for awhile. Then I realized that buy placing the floors first and then using single wall sections I could make what I wanted and the textures match.

Yep, thanks. Someone on Reddit suggested the same thing. Note that the smooth side of walls is the "outside" and the ugly side is the inside, as this is the only way they will attach to foundation floors.
