How to turn OFF the flashlight..

Ok the game works nice.. no flaws no crap just perfect. with ultra ;).

But.. the flashlight just popped up.. i was pressing tab and on it went and now i cant find the key to turn it off. - i checked the keymapping.. its not there..
I somehow pressed a button and up came the command promt.. and i couldnt turn it of either.. i had to quit the game with alt +f4.. so lame ;)

But any one know how to atleast turn on and off the flashlight ?
would be greatly helpfull ^^,

Should be the button left of 1 and below esc. If that doesn't work, try every other key.

it doesnt work and ive tryed all keys on my keyboard what should i do, ive completed the first quest and have decent gear do i need to do something else like a quest? or what should i do?

holding tab for a few seconds turns it on and off
~ is the key for command console


disable any infrared devices and disconnect any xbox controllers as either of these disable the ~ key

Yup, what ever button you tap to open or close your PipBoy, just hold it a couple of seconds.

That will turn your flashlight on or off.....

Do note that wired controllers or wireless controllers that are used in conjunction with a cord, do not disable console commands. Just in case people misread that.
