What is the cheat code for food?

Hi everyone I am currently stuck on the Sanctuary mission. Can someone tell me what the code is for food? and what you enter before hand. (player.additem/player.addperk)

there are farms around that have like 16 tatoes you can grab

after you put the code in you have to wait 5 minutes
or until the sinking realization sets in that you can't afford food

If you can't find the ID for food, you can try the player.showinventory or player.inv commands on an earlier save where you have food, to see if you can get the ID that way.

If you're already using console commands, a really handy command to get familiar with is 'help'. For example, typing 'help "corn" 4' would produce a list of items named corn, if they're a misc/food/activator/etc, and their code you can use for the 'additem' command.

there's food already there behind the 'main' building. harvest. replant. assign a guy. harvest. replant. I ended up with a whole farm in like 5 minutes, and have some 30 taters in my inv from a nearby location i scalped.

You are not compatible to this kind of game. Otherwise, look behind the main buiklding, harvest it, plant it, then WAIT. harvest again .. wait. Rinse and repeat.

Otherwise, go the hell exploring. It's not possible not to find food.

just open the console, type tgm for "godmode" and you can build and plant whatever you want. if you want it to go this quick...

Type "mutfruit" into goodle, on the Fallout 4 Fandom page for mutfruit there is an ID number.

Type

player.additem (item number here) (amount here) without the parenthesis. If the page lists a reference # and a base id #, I can never remember which one is the number you need. So try them both 1 at a time, one of them will work. Check your inventory.

Now that you have a "mutfruit" you can plant mutfruit in EARTH, must be open ground. Then you have to assign a settler to "work" the plant by opening the workshop, clicking on a settler, then clicking on the plant. Now that settlement has "food".

You will need to repeat this to get more food as you get more settlers.

Mutfruit is the best plan, each plant gives you 1 "food", all the other plants give you "0.5" food. So plant mutfruit.

Go to Graygarden. Get all the Mutfruit, Tatos, and Corn they have. Take them back to Sanctuary and start an adhesive farm.
