hopefully my processor and vid card may make up for it, well, i will see later tonight after my 3rd attempt of downloading the game at 350kb/s....

I checked my task manager while playing Fallout 4 to see what my usage was and it was 5.35GB out of 12GB of DDR3 Ram. I'm not sure how it would do with just 4GB.

Your CPU and GPU will make up for 0% of what your missing RAM would be doing. You might not even be able to launch it without crashes.

yeah ram is the only thing that needs to be above the min req to run it is the most important part

He's not trolling here's the hardware me, my husband, and my father run Fallout 4 on.

Running mine fine on Medium Settings:
-1360x768 Resolution on my Vizio TV Via VGA display
-TAA (Best)
-Turned ansiotropic filtering down to x8
-Fullscreen
NOTE: Haven't tried mine on High settings

2013 MSI 970A-G43 Motherboard
AMD FX 6300 3.50Ghz Six Core CPU (un-overclocked)
12GB Gskill Ripjaw DDR3 Ram
MSI Radeon R7 250 1GB GDDR5 GPU (Overclocked see below)
-10% Power limit, GPU clock set @ 1140Mhz, memory clock @ 1160Mhz, fan 80%

My Hubby's Desktop runs it prettier on his given his monitors higher res.
Runs his fine on Medium Settings:
-1440x900 Resolution on a Viewsonic Monitor Via VGA display
-TAA (Best)
-Turned ansiotropic filtering down to x8
-Fullscreen

2009 Asus Motherboard
AMD Phenom 9950 2.61Ghz Quad Core CPU
8GB of Corsair DDR2 Ram
MSI Radeon R7 250 1GB GDDR5 GPU (non-overclocked)

My father has the same hardware as my rig does but with these instead:
AMD Phenom X4 965 3.4 Ghz Deneb Quad Core CPU
10GB of DDR3 Gskill Ram
-1360x768 on a Phillips TV via VGA display (has secondary monitor HP monitor Via DVI)
-Runs on Medium Settings
-TAA (Best)
-Did not turn his ansiotropic filtering down at all
-Fullscreen

EDIT:
- Will upload a video soon on fighting Momma deathclaw on Youtube. (Potardo Youtube Channel)
- My friend Apple pie on steam ran his on High settings with 8GB DDR3 and a MSI or HIS Version of the Radeon r7 200 Series without overclock @ 1080 resolution. For some reason later it stopped actually loading the game and he just changed his resolution down to 1366x768 in the launcher and it ran again.

Not trolling at all, i have 4GB of ram running windows 7 ultimate, a GT630 and 3.9ghz quadcore. My cpu helps a lot for sure and it runs fine in a slightly lower res than i normally play games on.
