Graphics bug where everything will darken when moving.
I have a strange issue I wonder if anybody else has an idea how to resolve. I'm playing Fallout 4 using my PC connected to my TV via HDMI. Whenever I move, the screen darkens, it is especially noticeable on objects such as bushes trees etc. Everything will darken until I stop moving. It does not matter how fast I am moving but it really jarring and ruins the experience.

I am playing at 1080p, I am using the ultra preset settings with motion blur disabled. I tried using windowed mode but no difference. Tried turning off all the extra effects in the checkboxes but no change. It does not happen on my computer monitor and I don't think it is ghosting as things darken even when moving slowly.

im the same as you i think, im using a HDTV for my pc and i get the same effect but it also looks blurry on the grass and bushes as you move.

my brother has the exact same setup as me but with a normal pc monitor and his is fine.

i also have it on dying light, skyrim ect...

no idea how to fix it :(

I think I figured out the issue. The issue has to do with input lag with my TV. I had to switch to game mode for lower input lag, once I did so it nearly eliminated all of the issues I was seeing. :steamhappy:

Yeah... this immediately sounded like a monitor/TV issue. Also check that you don't have some dynamic settings turned on that will brighten/darken based on perceived room lighting.

Had this problem after fiddling with my asus-screen for work, changed back to gamemode on my and then lowered the setting "trace free" from 100 to 40 :D
