build a power generator, hit space bar on the generator or jukebox, connect them, boom, its powered

thats the thing the line is red, does the windmill not give enough power?
Dracon Nov 11, 2015 @ 12:04am
It mean something is blocking connection with them, you need to avoid obstacles when connecting devices!

its right next to the generator

Try to put a wall connector hub near the jukebox, those things distribute power around. they behave like they have a radius around them.

It migth be too far away, try building a power-pole or whatever they're called.

If the wire would go through a part of either item, it'll turn red.

i can gurantee you that its not that, ive tried multiple spots, with the windmill and with large/small polls right out in the opening

wire a Generator to a Power Conduit and place the Jukebox (or any item that needs power) nearby, the conduit will generate a 2 walls long powered area.

I'm fairly certain it's a bug in the PC version of the game. I watched a YouTube video that showed exactly how to get the jukebox working, but the video was made with the PlayStation version of FO4. I reproduced the steps on my PC, and it just doesn't work. I've tried every other combination I could imagine too... nothing works. Anyone else have any luck?

you can power it wirelessly

build one of those power lines or w/e they're called and put it within range of the jukebox, like on ur roof or something

and obviously have a generator already and attached to the power pole

flip the power on and off from that and gtg

It is a bug, but I found a workaround. Once you have your power source and power conduit wired up the way you know it *should* work, remove your jukebox by storing or scrapping it, and then rebuild it in the same spot. My jukebox powered right up after that.
