Tab not working?
Has anyone else encountered this? Sometimes my tab button just doesn't work. It wont open or close the pipboy. The only way I can fix it is by closing and reopening the game which is annoying. Thanks for any assistance.

Happens to me when i use powerarmor sometimes.
I found out that tabbing to desktop and back in game fixes it for me.

I haven't been in power armour either times it's happened to me, but will try alt-tabbing to fix next time it occurs, thanks!

had it in early game a few times.. but i just press space and right click mouse and somehow tav worked again... dont have the problem anymore maybe its the power armor not sure... only happened at the starting settlement

I had that issue in power armor. All I could do was exit the armor and run around with the minigun until I died.

Same. I find it occurs more often when I interact with the steam overlay, web browse, talk to friends etc. I usually just quicksave then restart the game but this thread has a couple of suggestions I might try out next time, cheers guys.

Alt+Tab to desktop and back will fix, will return here if i find something faster

It seems Ctrl+Tab will work, then tab will be normal afterwards though I have only tested it once!

Its pretty much fine until you use steam chat - shift+tab. then only the alt+tabs fix it again for me. I hope they patch this soon, it gets super boring when talking to friends a lot

using the steam overlay seems to cause tab to not work.

Yeah at the moment it seems tabbing out and back in is the only fix for this

that happened to me once i think it has something to do with activating the PB app before you load the game
