Problems with doors...

I am trying to build my first building in sanctuary, but it won't let me place the door. Any ideas on what is going wrong?

Try placing it from the other side.

When I made my building I had to place the door from the inside.

i had a similar issue the modular tileset building method is a bit wonky especially since you do it from first person and can't take a birds eye view of what you're building. Trial and Error worked for me til i figured out what combos worked and don't work. I had a realy problem getting fences not to look terrible. Hopefully the modding community will fix this.

Sorry for the late response. I notice that sometimes it takes a LOT of wiggling the door hologram around a frame for it to work. And, it only seems to work if I build the frame manually using the structure prefabs. One time I had to build the prefab, wiggle the door, get out of workshop mode, go back into it, and then walk around the prefab until it clicked.
