Giddyup Buttercup Parts

Has anyone else found the parts to the toy horse laying around the map? It seems like you can collect them all and build it for a settlement or something.

I have 4 of them. Found 1 full one in Diamond City (stole it) and now i collect the parts, sort of how i shoot the heads off the clapper creepers (monkeys)

There's an electronics hobbyist building with a few of those, I believe. It's towards the southwest end of the map near a giant freeway bridge wreckage.

found a guy near your vault, its at a pond at the west upper corner, where you see a black hole at the map = pond. aint no body got caps for this

There's a ghoul in the slog that actually gives you a quest to find peicea of it.

thanks! i'd been trying to remember who gave me that quest, because all i had was a pointer to the factory itself

incidentally, don't bother taking him complete buttercups - he only wants parts. i just brought him 11 complete ones and his dialogue didn't change. into the bin they go.

I found a complete one and I placed it down in sanctuary. Everytime I return it is never where it was when I left .. I even came back to seeing it in a compromising position with a suit of power armor like it was sniffing its crotch.

There are a couple of places that have a LOT of completed ones. I found a storehouse that had a good 10 in it all up on racks but I don't remember where. I also remember this teddy bear riding one at some farm location

he doesnt send you to get the horse parts, he is building the horses and sends you out to get electronic parts to make it work. no need to save buttercup parts

I don't remember were but I actually found the place where they made those. As in, designed and built them, complete with a terminal from the lead designer that made them.

I doubt there's any kind of quest around them and the parts are mostly for flavor really.

I started collecting them for this guy and when I returned he was dead.

The toy factory has complete pristine versions everywhere. I took two but ended up using them for scrap steel.
