stuck on walk mode

I believe CAPS key is to toggle from walk to a jog mode..

It's sometimes a bug with Bethesda games. If you are sprinting when activating a door, it will put you in perma walk mode. Save, quit, and restarting the game clears it.

It's a bug with the interface in general, if you're in the pip boy or Esc menus and press the walk button and go back to the game nothing will happen, but if you press the walk button and then go into the pip boy or Esc menus and press the walk button the game will think you're still walking and pressing the walk button again wont do anything. You have to go back into the pip boy or Esc menu and press the walk button to clear it.

Or you could have accidentally pressed the button to toggle walk mode. The default was caps lock in Skyrim, but in this game it changed to either C or V on a standard US English keyboard layout.
