My Power Armor disappeared....

I had the armor from the very beginning of the game parked in the rack in Sanctuary. Now, after spending some time cleaning up my town, I come back to the workshops and my power armor has vanished.... ???

Same here... Anyone know anything about this? Everytime I talk to Marcy Long my dude asks her to step out of her power armor, but she isn't wearing any.

Your settlers and other NPCs and raiders will steal the armor. Always remove the fusion cores, and don't store them anywhere near the armor.

Sadly it is very possible that your power armor has fallen through the terrain of the game world. Don't be too terribly vexed by it. You can acquire other power armors in the game world, and to be blunt the original armor isn't all that good anyway.

Check the minimap. If they get out of it, you'll see a little Darth Vader icon which is the location of your power suit. If you can't find it, as Dodece says, there are plenty of opportunities to obtain more.

same exact thing happened to me. twice the first time an NPC took off with it and then disappeared from the game world entirely..could not locate the armor icon on the map anymore..then the second time the atom cat armor was sitting in its mod station when that too disappeared and it did not have a core in it.. I noticed that i could see a glow around animals and NPC's and then the glow went away..then i remembered that is the same weird glow the first time my armor disappeared...so i ran to the rack to see my armor missing again.. its a game breaking glitch..i cant own power armor.

I guess im going to have to build a house with no doors and keep my armor inside. because the dam thing is always disappearing.

Unfortunately, NPCs can easily teleport in this game. I don't know how much that will help you.

I found Duke from the Atom Cats and killed him for his power armor. Since then, I've had it parked in Sanctuary without any further issues.

I lost my X-01 Power Armour, completely upgraded and painted, and I set it up on an upgrade station in The Castle walls, no one in the settlement has it on, and I even have 8 other Power armour suits on the wall as display WITH fusion cores... point being I lost my main squeeze of PA and it poofed into thin air.

Always make sure you remove the power cores. When I first started out, about 30 hours in, I lost 4 sets of power armor and had to reload which lost me over 4 hours play time because I didnt know about the cores needing to be removed. Its handy them being able to use power armor though because if like me, you now have so many sets, I could let most the settlers of Sanctuary have there own custom sets. Also NPC, including your followers will not drain a fusion core, it just works!

If I had to restart a save I'd lose over or a bit under 24 hours of gameplay :I, couldn't my settlers take a power armour suit that has barely any armour on it? That would be super helpful lol
