can not complete sanctuary quest

i can not talk to sturges anymore, it always just goes to trading

I got to the part where i got food for everyone and now i cant talk to him

Double check the condition is met, I had to place extra plants down, one or of them didn't count.

yeah the condition was met, i even planted more after that. i got the objective to talk to him and now i cant.

same thing is happening to me when i try to complete a quest with him.. did you ever figure out what to do?

assign more people to more plant types, even if it sais its done it likely may not be so you need it to rise higher than stated.

You might need to demolish some things to complete quest. Can get some decent parts from the already destroyed homes.

Similar when building defense structures, unless u build a structure that doesn't require workers. E.g a guard tower, then u need to assign a worker to a guard tower before the objective completes.

What about something like beds? I recently started a minuteman playthrough, but I cannot, for the life of me, finish Sanctuary because it won't count the beds as built. TO NOTE, however, I am playing on a /HEAVILY/ modded game, and I may actually need to fresh-reinstall FO4.

Might very well be a conflict with a mod. I would disable 1 mod at a time and retry the objective until I located the mod causing it. (That is, if it's mod related). U can ofc disable all mods right away and try then. At least you'll know right away if it's a mod or not and if so, enable 1 at a time until it happens again.
