Pipboy glitch?

My pipboy is like 40% covered with black smudges, literally can not see that portion of the screen. Loaded an autosave back inside vault 111 and it was normal, soon as I took the elevator up the pipboy screen is half covered again. Looked at some videos and streams and noone else seems to have this issue. Any ideas ?

I'm having the same issue, cant read basic stat on items and armor because of it.

Parts would disappear for me, but only happened once or twice and was simply solved by going into third person view and restarting it.

But it might not have been exactly the problem you are describing.

I have the same issue. Been exploring the forums to find an answer. I've tried changing my graphics from max to lowest and in between. No change.

same issue here, sometimes its readable, sometimes it looks like the screenshot above. Havent figured out what causes it to change

There's a dirt effect on the screen, so the black parts should be slightly gray because of dust. So the effect is bugging. Doesn't help fix it, but I thought it would at least explain part of it.

I can't even launch the Pip-Boy. Tab key does nothing.

You can change the color of the text in the options menu.

This happens somtimes. Try either alt-tabbing or shift-tabbing (to the steam overlay) and back.

Actually, it has happened 100% of the time so far. Did try alt-tab and shift tab, bomb bay doors, negative function.

I fixed mine. I downloaded and installed the Geforce experience and it worked. http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience

I am have a problem with the entire screen,I can move my characters hand while in Pip Boy and see the Very Top of the HUD and the Very Bottom when i tilt it.

same issue - black screen, kinda dusty/shadowish all over the pip boy screen. i can see the border and while moving arround the boy i can see some more. tried so many things; disable pip boy mods, settings change, power armor entry, third person and back to first person mode, quick save - quick load, verify game cache (twice), turning some guns in the pip boy showcase and after that some spots were close to normal but darker. ive started a new game, same. as soon as i get the boy - black shadows all over it. even on the hands and some parts of the guns. only thing that "worked", to load an earlier savegame and it got complete as it should be, but i dont wanna play all that again. also its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug and i wanna fix it :/

it started instantly after installing the "AWKCRP" mod and super mutant redux. i dont think this bug has anything to do with it, but just for the record. and yes, i disabled those mods - same.
it also could be because of the new nvidia update, idk.

i really hope we can fix this, otherwise its the end of f4 for me :D
