WEIRD WHITE SCREEN GLITCH [FIX]
TURN OFF "WETNESS" IN ADVANCED OPTIONS IN THE LAUNCHER.

So, after playing Fallout 4 for about 10 hours, I got this weird bug that made like everything white. I restarted the game and everything went back to normal. Then it happened again 2 hours later, then again, and again. Just more and more often, I just ragequit 2 minutes ago just to make this discussion about it.

What is looks like when it happens. [i.imgur.com]

Anyone know a fix?

And yes I got the Fallout 4 drivers.

EDIT: IT HAPPENS BECAUSE OF "WETNESS" IN THE ADVANCED VIDEO OPTIONS IS "ON"

TURN IT OFF TO GET RID OF THE GLITCH

You're not alone... I'm getting the same thing after 10 hours of gameplay aswell, and I have the latest drivers, really annoying. Needs to be fixed soon, unplayable.

it was the rain effects that were cuasing it on mine, in the game launcher go into the advanced option and try turning off the wetness option, that fixed it on mine

You are not alone. 15 minutes of progress wasted. I have to go to a previous autosave to fix it.

Just thought of a quickfix solution. I was in Sanctuary when this happened. I went into build mode to try and highlight the nearest chair, and I sat down in it. All I had to do was wait 1 hour, and the white went away.

Well this happened to me on a 760, so no it's not an AMD issue

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I just ran into this glitch myself, and "Wetness" option was already turned off. It seemed to be brought on by a Thunderstorm, with the flashes creating the glitch, eventually becoming permanent. Reloading and Restarting the game wouldn't help. I eventually fast-traveled away, and it stopped... until some Bloodbugs attacked me, then it became absolutely permanent. Nothing I've tried since can make it go away.

I may be late, but if Wetness fix don't work, turning on Ambient Occlusion might.
Did for me, and I'm running an old GTX 650ti

Woops, meant to report back here sooner. I did eventually find a fix for this, by turning off "Wetness" in graphics options. Worked like a charm.

I've since upgraded to a new build, though, and can now run this game on Ultra settings with little effort. This particular glitch has, thus far, not manifested again. *knocks on wood*
