AWKWARD MOVEMENT IN WORKSHOP MODE

Why can't I run with QZSD..?
I need to press X to move awkwardly up front after a second or so and D to move to the right, not even sure if I can go any other direction.
I can hardly build anything for my settlement even though it's already being attacked etc.
The game's amazing so far, never even thought I could almost max everything out with a GTX 760 but god.. plz fix the awkward movement in the building mode, it's unplayable!
Am I the only one with this issue? (Belgium version of the game)

I got the same problem, also from belgium. I'm thinking then that our azerty-keyboard is the problem.

I switched to qwerty-layout and the problem is solved. Not the best solution, but for now its good enough.

The problem (I think) is that when you rebind the movement keys (I also have an azerty keyboard), it works in the normal game, but apparently in workshop mode the rebind does not work (therefore I can only go backwards & to the right. Hope this gets fixed soon enough...

exactly, this is extremely annoying and should be a crucial fix for us, users

the character gets sore and fast movement while getting up mixes his senses. my wasd usually goes like this: d to walk backwards, s to move left, a to move foward, and w to move right. It's like drunk mode :D

I use the arrow keys for movement, but workshop mode isn't allowing it.

meh i don't care anymore, haven't even touched it since then.
Can't believe it's already been 4 months wow
thought this game would change me for good hahaha
