Fallout 4 Is Very Blurry. PLeae Help !!!
Hi. This game is blurry and is giving me head aches. How do I fix the blurr problem.

I get 60FPS no problem but the blurryness is killing me. Please help.

I have removed the motion blurr and reduce the Depth of Field to low in the settings. What else can I do to fix this ?? All the textures are blurry, close and far both.

CPU : i7 4790 3.6GHz
GPU : GTX 980 Asus
RAM : 8GB
Playing with PS4 Controller

Changing the TAA to FXAA made the biggest difference. All the others you listed above I have not noticed. Try changing to FXAA and see if that works.

Is your resolution set correctly? If it's not set to the native res of your monitor it can result in this warped/blurry look.

That is on Ultra - every setting. I'm using the highest AA, thinking about moving to FXAA.

personally I always turn off ambient occlusion, depth of feild blurr, motion blurr, bloom in some games. Just because it's too blurry. I don't have this game so I couldn't say what the exact setting is you'd be looking for.

Im playing on window mode 1280x720... In 1080p I get FPS stuttering problem. Playing on window mode has fixed this problem for me.

if you're playing windowed, you might want to consider something like this http://westechsolutions.net/sites/WindowedBorderlessGaming/

edit: this video shows what I was talking about previously.

on low it looks a lot less blurry because all it's doing is taking away ambient occlusion and that sort of thing. The graphics are exactly the same for the most part except for the "blurring" to make it look "better". Like I said I don't know what options it has, to turn off blurring you might have to set it on Low/Medium and turn AA up full and turn res up full to get the best non blurred look.

Don't know if it's the same issue but regardless of texture settings I use the textures are just OK when first loading the game, but after 2-3 minutes of travel are reduced to extremely low res versions. The framerate is very smooth, but the textures are terrible. geforce 450

After Switching to FXAA from TAA most of the blurryness is gone so the gameplay is bearable now.

Same issue here...GeForce GTX 650 (1gb edition), AMD FX8350 (8-core) @ 4.3ghz, 8gb ram.
I average between 40-60 FPS, with a bit of microstutter here and there as well, so performance isn't that big of a deal for me.

No matter what texture settings used, ini's edited, texture mods used...after about 2 or 3 minutes, everything just goes blurry...like water colors or someone took the smudge/blur tool in PS and used it all over the game...

For reference.. other games look great and run fine on my system; GTA 5, High settings...no issues, Dying Light is maxed out, no blur...and several other games run and look the way they should...just not Fallout 4.

Thought it was my video card, still could be to a degree, but if every other looks and plays well, then it's gotta be on Fallout 4's end of things... :(

Did this happen mid-game? Apparently there are caves and such you can enter that cause a temporary blur effect that is supposed to go away with time, but sometimes they don't go away... I'm having the same issue; screen looks like really grayed out, gloomy and slightly obscured on the edges.

I also have this problem.. but for me it is very subtle and just makes everything look watery like as if my monitor is not using its native resolution.
I have heard of the cave thing in FONV but not FO4. I have been into caves since.. Don't think it is going to fix it.
Mine started happening when I was in Diamond City and I alt-tabbed out for a minute to check the wiki.. then when I got back in my res was 720p and i quit the game.. now my game is back to 1080p but its all watery >.< Can't play like this anymore.. its driving me nuts. Makes me feel like I have water in my eyes.
