When I loaded the game she spoke to me as normal and I could continue the quest
Hope that helps people get past this bug.
I have tried -
1. Starting over from where the quest starts (talking to Nick in Diamond City.)
2. Leaving Goodneighbor and returning to start the quest.
3. Attacking Dr. Amari (just gets me killed if I stand there long enough).
I've avoided using console commands as a lot of people state they ruin the playtrhough of the next quest as well.
Seems it is this particular playthrough. I started another character and worked my way straight to this quest and it completes fine.
I did visit the Glowing Sea and kill all the Children of Atom before actually starting this quest in the playthrough that is stuck. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. The town shows all sorts of stuff as theoretically stealing rather than just looting.
I don't know. I liked this playthrough and am not keen to build a second character all the way to this point. Would be nice if multimillion dollar multinational corporations didn't suck.
Would be nicer if a person did not go around digging up every four month old topic about a bug.
Seems to me you have spent more time replying to topics that ended months ago rather than actually search for answers.
You can fix any quest with proper console commands. Use improper console commands and you can easily ruin a follow up quest.
in other words, there's no fix.
Yeah.
