Audio is offbalance, primairly focused to the right headphone
Yeah kind of what the subject says, does anyone else have a fix; and before some smartmouthed child says "its my headphones." I can assure you its not.

No sound effects like footsteps, Pipboy select, gunshots are heard from the left headset, only the right. Only music can be heard from the left.

Keep turning right.

Seriously though I don't know. It might be your headphones.

well considering the fact that my headphones work fine on different set ups. As well as it does this with 4 other headphones, which 2 are brand new. Like I said its the game, not my equipment. Not to mention I am watching Netflix with perfectly balanced audio. Learn how to read child.

My friend had the same issue. Go to Audio Devices, select Properties > Advanced and change the Default format to CD quality. Run the game and if it fixes it you can go back and return it to DVD quality.

That didn't do anything, for some reason all sound effects are still being filtered to the right headphone, and music plays the left.

Some people are having success by reinstalling DirectX, worth a shot.

If reinstalling DirectX doesn't work, there is one other thing you can try. If your headphones have surround settings, try disabling all channels except for the front left and right. Even if you're not using 5.1/7.1 mode, some games can get confused when downmixing to stereo.

i've noticed the same thing, its not your headphones its actually the game. For common types of sounds it uses the right side more, but if you were to walk around people talking you can hear them change from left to right.

Do you guys have sound cards?

Yeah, I had to download the firmware and software for my headset and turn off surround sound. Which fixed it, but surround sound is off.
