The Lost Patrol - Cannot Complete Quest
Can anyone help me? I'm in the final stage of this quest where I have to report to Paladin Danse and he's my companion now so there's no dialogue option to "Report" to him.

Did you find a fix? I'm having this exact same problem.

No buddy :( I hope Bethesda does something about it.

This is why having 4 dialogue options when you speak to someone isn't good enough... Wish the heroes were silent like before...

Once you make it to the Prydwen, travel to the lower level of the Command Deck and speak with Lancer Caption Kells. He will resolve the quest for you and give you a follow up.

Can't you just dismiss Danse and then speak to him....

Nope. That doesn't seem to work. Anyway, my comment above solves the problem.

Hey all, in the end I left the quest, but in my 2nd playthrough I made sure to finish it before Paladin Danse became my companion.

I had the same issue. Just finish the quest "No Mercy" and you will be able to report to Danse, who will tell you to report to Kells.

Ack, I got this as well, spoke to Danse and he said to report to Kells but Kells just repeats ship's status instead of closing the quest :(
