Game won't launch
Has anyone had this problem and if so how did they fix it?

having the same issue too, i launch it but it gets stuck on the black screen and wont do anything else but keep my mouse on the loading animation

I right clicked the game in library, went to local files, right click on fallout4 launcher exe, and run as administrator, now I get error the program can't start because bink2w64.dll is missing. Do you get the same issue?

Ive seen people recommend updating your graphic drive and verifying game caches. Neither worked for me, but I've seen it suggested by other people.

I press play and then i get the old type of tv screen saying: ''please stand by'' and then it crashes. I really don't know what to do.

with an error like that, i would definitely recommend verifying the game cache

6 files failed to validate and will be reacquired. I also pasted bink2w64.dll in the folder.

Ditto, I've updated my drivers, ran it as administrator. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Validated the game cache. Still can't get it to work. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it?

I got mine to work... Sorry not bragging just thought I'd update. Hope you guys get this sorted out soon.

Try downgrading your Nvidia drivers. For some reason the newest 3 drivers seem less stable than the older ones. I had the same issues and downgrading worked. 355.98 is what I'm using now for my laptop. So far, so good.

I am really at the point of refunding this game nothing i do seem to work. Why can't i just start this game already.

It seems to work if I run it in windowed mode. Not ideal, but it starts.

I verified game cache and it said 6 files were invalid, and I pasted bink2w64.dll into the game folder. I have nvidia drivers up to date. Not sure what else to tell you that might help. Hope you can get it to work
