This makes powering something outdoors with a generator inside a house very tricky. That said, things that only require power to exist (no number next to the symbol) Just need to be placed somewhere neer a connector point.
Anyone know if you can de-radiate.. anything? I have this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ puddle in the middle of my base that irradiated as ♥♥♥♥. I wouldve thought water purifiers may've worked, but I think this may just not actually be a feature of the water purifiers.
Nevermind... try scrapping the damn nuclear waste barrels in the puddle first.
That did the trick.
Let me guess Starlight drive in? I was gonna build a base there too, I wonder if I could build it on stilts high enough that the rad doesn't hit me
For instance when I'm in the scraping interface and choose a couch and choose the store option.
I cleaned out my workbench and stored something and it doesn't show up
If you take a rad-X for the rad resist, and then scrap everything in that little puddle in the center, you eliminate all radiation from that little puddle. No need for stilts. I will say though.. you need A LOT of wood, steel, and possibly rubber to wall off that whole perimeter! xD
Theres also a small patch of dirt behind the workbench house as well as right in front of that giant building (not the diner building) where you can plant a modest amount of crops too.
You can also fit two smaller water purifiers in that pond, and also place a recruitment beacon on the awning of the diner (the one that has the second floor door for access). Thats what I did anyways. Good luck! Its a sweet spot IMO!
That's what I did. Click once to start the run. I get the sparky bit on my icon and the wire streaming out behind. I go to the purifier and it jumps a red line to the top of the purifier and says something like click space to connect. So I click space again, but nothing happens. Is ther a visual cue of any sort that it's worked? Will you see an actual wire connecting them? Don't know why it's not working for me.
It sits in the UI for when you're placing objects, for anything that you've stored there will be a number in the bottom middle of the icon for it. So if you stored that couch, you can just place it without using your junk inventory to create a new one.
Thanks for the help didn't see it before
