Increase walk speed?

Anybody know how to adjust the values to increase the walk speed? I don't want to run, I'd just like to walk a little faster.

yea it is retardedly slow for me, i have seen senior citizens walk faster in a walker then this guy walks normally...

Go to console command box by pressing:

Tilde key (normally next to your number one key and above your tabulator)

or scandinavian its one of the æåø buttons

then type:

player.setav speedmult X

then enter,,

X is the speet that you want.. 100 is the base speed, so 150 will speed you up by 50%

I'd love an answer to this as well. I know there's a certain mod that alters ONLY WALKING SPEED, but it's coupled with a bunch of gameplay changes I don't want. Means somewhere in here there's a global command for walk speed.

The speedmult command effects walk AND run speed, and like OP I just want to walk faster because I'm a nerd who likes dramatic tension - but also to get ♥♥♥♥ done in less than an hour.

It's odd I haven't had a problem with walking speed until today. Now I'm moving at a snail pace and I'm not carrying too much weight. I don't know if they patched something but walking speed isn't walking anymore.

What mod is it that you mentioned that alters walk speed with other gameplay changes?

Try crouched running. You'll move slower than running but faster than walking. You won't set off near as many traps. Also, you'll be able to sneak up on people easier.

Stfu just use console commands like this player.setav speedmult (number) Tilde (~) Key to open it and if you want achievments leave the game and re enter your save ofcourse it will reset your stuff.

im sure the legit way to do it is to farm legendary armor that says "sprinter" since these armor parts increase movement speed by 10% each..... now im having a problem with running and walking too fast, had it glitch out my power armor so now im Flash.... had to open console and "player.setav speedmult 50". best place to farm legendary stuff are glowing sea or just camp somewhere were you can sleep and go out to kill a respawned zone.

I'll never understand why developers make your character run faster than NPCs but walk slower than NPCs, in like, ALL GAMES... Makes all Escort missions more fun..?
