Probally. Assuming you know nothign else other than what is in this quest, you are under the assumption that Stockton, (regardless of if she is or isn;t synth) believes it his daughter, but if you know more then you know Stockton moves syths for the Railroad. It is quite probable that he knows she is a synth, and is his daughter as well. It could be her safe identity after escaping. In this case, there would still be negative impact with him, even if you proved she was synth.

That being said, is it a bug to have Dan be agressive as soon as you enter the Compound? (Ive had it with both options (stay away from the compound & "ill let the compound know youre coming) from the old bearded guy (forget his name).
As for Amelia, I rejected the doc's offer and stuck with Dan, then exploited the reward glitch for 50k caps.
