Where are the stored items?
I am not talking about stuff which you collect while walking around doing stuff which you can put in the work bench.

I am talking about the furniture from your base like chairs, tables, generators etc. If I storage these kind of items, they are nowhere. Am I just stupid? I can't find them in the workbench so they have to be somewhere else.

Edit: They are at the workbench where you stored them. I think you need a perk to make them all bench wide.

I'm curious about this too

Ahh maybe they are just stored in a invisible inventory for if you go to place a new one later it'll use the one already made....just a guess.

ah geeze. I have the same problem. Where did it go after you made the stuff and store it? I hate remaking stuff.

That's what I was hoping. I have been storing stuff too, and wondered whether I was just inattentive. When I go to build another of the same item, it sure looks as if it's using up more raw materials. Bookmarking this thread until somebody comes along with a definitive answer.

When you try to make the same item it doesn't cost any materials and there is a number under the item showing how many you have stored.

In the build menu interface. If u for example store a generator back to workbench u just have to go to the generator section and u find it. Theres a number under it.

Out of curiosity, do we know if stored constructables are shared with supply lines? I already know they can't be carried due to the "invisible inventory" thing.

you can only see the evidence of 'stored' items from the builder HUD

for example: if you store 2 of the same type of chair, when you go to place one of these chairs you'll see a small '2' at the bottom of the lil thumbnail picture of the chair in the builder slide bar thingy at the bottom of the screen, sometimes i have to move the bar one item to the right and then back to get the lil # to appear

keep in mind that 'stored' items only work at the workshop you stored them in, they cannot be 'auto scrapped' or accessed whatsoever from other workshops even with supply lines in place

unfortunately it doesn't seem possible to access a list of items you have stored so only way to really know is to paruse the whole builder inventory to look for those lil #'s to see what you got in there
