These wall corners...
Am I missing something, or are these wall corners for buildings the wrong way? If I want to build a square building (on a foundation perhaps), the only good wall corners for this are turned the wrong way. The side which should be facing outward is on the inside corner so if you try to place a roof, it snaps to the wrong side. Trying to put two walls together corner to corner doesn't work as the walls will try to snap together on a straight line. This seems weird.

Yep, noticed this too.. sucks, both metal and wooden structure corners are screwed.

Before placing (any) item, hold E and you will get more controll over the placing of the object, and you should be able to make walls snap to a corner.
What I advice most to have an easyer time building, even if there is one there, make a foundation (strucktures > wood > floors), walls will snap to it more easy making it a lot better to handle.

You can't put walls at 90 degree angle unless you make a base(floor). Sort of goofy.

The corners they do have are reverse corners. So the corner of the corner is on the inside not the outside.

A bit of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I noticed this too, I wonder if its a bug or what, but kind of confusing. Seems like there should be another piece.

What is the fist thing laid down for a new house? A foundation. then a floor and walls. So build a floor then add walls to it. >_<

I mean, come on people. It's pretty logical. :P

You can make wall and corners with out floors or base you just have to walk around a bit till the angle changes while placing the wall and eventually it will snap to the angle you wish to use..

Sanctuary Hills has platforms that are already a foundation and floor. So no, you don't need to build a foundation and floor first, sometimes it's already there. ;)

If you place 1 wall then build a ceiling tile for it you can easily snap walls to the ceiling to get conners with just regular wall pieces

It's there but it's not built by you so the walls won't snap to it. ^_^ So you need to add a floor to the foundations before you can make corners. ^_^

Yes... yes you do. Because walls don't snap to the ground (foundations), but to floors. So you'll still have to put down floors to make a house.

Dude the whooole issue here is the fact the they are seemingly missing an entire corner piece. The only way to place a prefabbed corner wall is to have the corner piece insided the house rather than outside of it. (Or just have the corners of your house facing the complete other way than your walls do, then you can have them. Ex: When a wall is placed, the outside is the smoother part and the inside is the side you can see the beams and stuff holding it together). Try to place a prefabbed corner wall to that wall just placed, so that the finishes match sides and that it is a 90 degree corner and you won't be able to))

So build the corners manually? the prefabs are just special tiles.

ive ben using hallways for the corners

Your an illogical idot, your saying the issue with the whole thing is because of foundations not being placed....

An issues with PLAYER PLACED foundations/floors not being placed, yes. Walls with NOT snap to the edges of the foundations in Sanctuary until you have put some floor tiles on it.
