My experience with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti and 3.2GHz CPU
It is running surprisingly well, after I manually configured the settings.

First, I have the updated drivers for the gpu. But GeForce Experience said my system did not meet specs, and automatically set everything to the minimums. Then Fallout 4 said it could not detect my video hardware (apparently a common issue with my video card), and it set everyhing to minimum also!

Then I tried experimenting.

I changed settings from the Fallout startup menu, to "windowed mode" and "borderless". I only have a standard 17 inch monitor and guess Fallout 4 doesn't support this?

I have the "High" detail setting selected.

I am getting 45 to 50 FPS according to Fraps. It seems to be running quite smoothly. I wonder if the fact I only have a 17 inch monitor helps (fewer pixels to push?)

I also have it running from a SSD (installed specifically for this game) and 12 gigs of RAM. Anyway, I am quite pleased with performance, given I wasn't sure if my old CPU (5+ years) would even run it well enough to play.

Just thought I would pass along my experience. Here is my system:
