What to do during rad storms?

Do you just pop rad-x and run through or wait it out in a building? seems like you still take rads if you're inside a building...

It's only +1 rad for about a second or so when the lightning flashes, nothing to be afraid of.

Rad storms are weak, nothing to worry about - unless you get the Rad Storm mod o_o - I think that's 50 rads per second per strike, rather than just 1....

You can always sit down and wait for one hour, or rest in a bed for one hour. The storm will be gone and you would have taken no Rad damage.

Put on a gas mask.

Its 1 rad when the lighting flashes - hardly even worth the effort to have them.

i think rad storms should do more +rad imo. +1 is to much carebear.

I downloaded that mod a few minutes ago after another poster mentioned it. This is what a radiation storm should be like!

It even has optional files for varying degrees of rads from 0, 25 and 100 per flash (with the mod default being 50).

Just a pity the storms don't last very long.

The first time I saw one I was like "oh no better find some shelter"
then I was like "wow... 1 rad per second... scary..." then I went to find a mod to make it dangerous.
