Does intelligence govern skill points recieved per level?
I am at work daydreaming about getting home to buy this, i have been watching videos all morning.

When i start out should i max intelligence? It says something about giving you more exp per level?

So should i max it to 10 so i get more perk points per level? Or is that not the case

No, intelligence is a dump stat that only affects what INT based "perks" you can get. The only thing that really matters is to build for carrying and combat at the beginning of the game. You can dump SPECIAL into w/e other stat you want whenever you level, so it's just a boring linear path to godlike power. You'll have the same character as almost everyone else, like I predicted...

bloodymonarch, go change your tampon.

@op, sorry skill points no longer exist. Its all based off of special and perks now. In some ways similiar to skyrims talent system.

Like Ming pointed out, there are no skill points in FO4. Intelligence affects which perks you can get (the perk for 9 Int looks really useful if you like power armor), and it gives you a bonus to experience points, but nobody seems to know exactly how much.

the difference between INT 1 and INT 10 is that you get between 5%-30% extra experience. AFAIK, experience is calculated in this way -> base exp + (base exp*%(based on INT)) = experience gained. its really not that big.

Where did you find those numbers? I've seen a lot of different guesses, and I'm trying to nail down something definite.
