Mouse and keyboard wont work

Anybody else that have the same problem? I can play with a 360 controller but I can't use mouse and keyboard...

Forgot the mention that this happens immediately on start up of the game. I can't even use the mouse and keyboard in the menu, I have to use the controller

i am having the same issue. already disabled the controller option and i am still having the same problem, first at a computer terminal and right after leaving the vault. =(

I belive i have found a fix. go into My Documents > My Games > Fallout4 and open the Fallout4Prefs.ini file and change bGamepadEnable=1 to bGamepadEnable=0 This worked for me and I was able to use mouse and keyboard. also make sure you unplug your controller if your using one

nice, the game is now working without this solution, but if it happen agains i know what to do

There is an actual setting in the game menu under "Gameplay" that lets you enable/disable the controller function. Of course, if it's on controller mode, you will need to disable this with your controller before you can use your keyboard. However, it's definitely more convenient than having to go into the .ini, unless you no longer have a controller.

This is an old thread that still seams to be very relivant. This is a setting on other Bethesda games I've had to reset continually.
