Stuck in main's house/tutorial - bug/glitch

Anyone else experience this?

After the dude announces the bad news, neither Codsworth or Nora say anything. They respond when talked to, but just reactions. No door knocks or anything. Also, the baby's missing out of the crib. Tried reloading once, no success. Considering a new game, though idk if that'll fix it.

Anyone have any possible solutions?

A glitch prevented your front door from opening automatically, and you can't interact with it as an object.
It's a pain, but restart the game. That should fix the problem on the next pass through.
