Stuck in a power suit

so i have a major glitch my character is stuck in a wierd power suit i cant get out of. anyone have this glitch? figure out hoe to fix it ?

I won the same award. Glad I found you. lol I tried tapping it but didn't remember that holding E was the answer.

My issue is.. I can't understand how to repair the suit via pip boy. Or where the stations are. I found the suit, used it during a battle on a balcony, then I am here at this point... O.o

You can't repair power armor from the pipboy, you have to take it to a power armor...hoist (I can't remember the proper name).

The power armor repair/modify station looks like a yellow engine hoist, and there is one at the Red Rocket station where you found the dog, among other places. To use it, you need to move the power armor very close to the station and get out, then activate the station (which will move the armor into the correct position). I normally do this by walking up to the thing, but sometimes I'll back in (but not back too far or you can't get out).

Stations are a lot of places all over the commonwealth and you can build them in settlements. Exit the armor near them then use the station to repair/modify

BTW I couldnt get out of my suit either at first OP :P. Had to google it at game launch. I also had some other embarrassing stuff happen like how to move settlers even though the info was pretty much in front of me.

There is also another type that looks like a yellow arch.

You also need scrap to be able to repair your suit.

Thanks for the response! I learned if something is behind you, like a wall, it won't let you exit the suit. So, if I don't want to hop out of my suit but move an object, I have to put my back against a wall and press and hold E to pick up an item. If I'm not with a wall behind me, I'll jump out of the suit if it's an object you can't pick up. Some bodies can be picked up, others not. I'm still learning which items are movable and which are not. Cardboard boxes, shopping carts not embedded in the ground, body parts (though arms are a bit difficult sometimes), baskets (the blue ones), but the filed boxes (ones with files in it, not movable) Cones you can move, road block barriers also. I learned to build the power station and you must exit the suit near it (I walk straight into the middle of it facing it) then click on the station from the side.

Sorry I didn't return sooner. I'm encumbered with a lot of things in life and having trouble keeping up. TY again! Hope I've helped someone also with what I've learned since I made the post.

I'm going to look more into the scrapping ability. I saw that ability in my build mode somewhere but was preoccupied. GL and thanks again.

I've always wondered what would happen if you were armored up, had your back to a wall, and the your very last fusion cell goes dead...

You can still walk around without any fusion cores.

As far as I know, Fusion Cores just allow me to run in Power Armour. Not sure what else they do since I rarely wear Power Armour - I think you can do anything else other than move fast.
