Camera jitter/stutter fix (caused by vsync)
Using the game engine vsync (ipresentinterval=1) and nvidia driver vsync causes the camera jitter/stutter like crazy when i strafe and turn camera.
I fixed this problem by setting ipresentinterval=0 and using the nvidia inspector to force vsync on, triple buffering and frame rate limiter to 58 fps. I didn't notice any input lag while steering character maybe a little with menus such as the pipboy.
I recommend making sure that all the 3 fallout 4 ini files are read only after you alter them since fallout4launcher.exe will reset some settings such as the "ipresentinterval" parameter.

Hope this helps!

Oh and how you limit the FPS ?

i had this too but when changed to borderless windowed as someone suggested it ran very smooth. I tried the interval thing but i found borderless windowed best

You could also try windowed borderless. It fixed my stutter problem.

Theres the option in "sync and refresh" category in nvidia inspector, just click the drop down menu and pick 58 fps. If you don't know how to use that program i recommend looking up a guide on how to use it. It's the best tool for nvidia driver tweaking.

THIS. A million times this. I spent a good couple of hours tweaking various settings and the ini.'s trying to eliminate the microstutter that is apparent when moving around and it wasnt until I capped the framerate at 58 that the game plays silky smooth. Cheers!

Yes, borderless windowed mode most likely will cure your problem BUT,
The game will run slower in certain areas.

For example I got 60 fps solid on fullscreen but with borderless, I get average 40 outside.

Borderless window mode is likely to use more resources than conventional fullscreen mode.

Will definitely try the method

WOW... definitely will try this and if it works for me then officially we have a solution for all nVidia users !

Oh and by the way guys .. i am on win7 ultimate 64bits without service pack 1 ... and sometimes i really doubt that this might be the reason behind the stuttering !

I have updated my drivers, run at 60 fps and when I strafe or look around while moving it stutters like crazy.
