How to kill deathclaw in concord? Out of Minigun ammo

So trying to kill the raiders from the roof of the buildings I ran out of ammo just at the end. Now I have to kill a deathclaw with a half broken suit of power armour and a useless minigun. If I try and go downstairs and kill it with my other guns it kills me.

The best answer is to build a few turrets nearest concord at Red Rocket and kite the deathclaw to the turrets. You can use a tiny rock walll and kite him forever.

I like how this topic was made in 2015, and necroed in 2016 and apparently necroed again.

First time I met the deathclaw it killed me. mainly because I wasn't used to my HP gauge location in power armor. was figuring the man icon with red limbs was something like a HP gauge.

then I died.

then I figured out where my HP gauge was, and just used a bunch of stimpacks while backing away.

minigun is a pretty terrible weapon in my opinion. I can never hit anything with it.

and it does same damage as the Sub Machine gun.

later on in the game I tried using a minigun on deathclaws, and it cripples their legs, LONG before it actually kills them.

If you can blow up a car with it nearby its probably your best bet. otherwise back away while stimpacking.

Places stones in front around the skull and incense then chants:

I use the mingun to blow up cars near him, laser musket at range, and 10mm pistol to the belly whilst sidestep his charges into alleyways and backing away. Crippling one of his legs helps. VATS does not.

Get into the power armor
Use dogmeat as your shield :P
Use VATS ( the key is Q )
get into a building that you can shoot this deathclaw and stay into the nice spot cause deathclaws can throw cars everything at you :P

1. Get in power armor.
2. Grab Minigun
3. Put minigun in a quick select slot, then switch to one of your other guns.
4. Kill raiders with another gun to conserve ammo.
5. Don't kill the last two raiders down the road, push towards them instead until the Deathclaw comes up.
6. Use quick-select to equipt minigun, Then Unload on Deathclaw while it's distracted killing those two raiders.

P.S: Sometimes it's even better if you got Dogmeat. Tell him to attack the deathclaw and it'l distract him even more from going after you as long as you don't get too close to him to AGRO his attention.

Shoot the deathclaw in the stomach that seems to be where he has the least amount of ballistic defense.

Deathclaw takes a significant damage from fighting raiders.
This will be very useful for survival, but I'm having fun on Hard mode.
Please mark this as answer, as this will be a huge problem for the hardest difficulty.
So by letting it fight raiders, you save as much ammo as possible, and most importantly, it won't spawn until you jump down on the ground.
