FIXED RESOLUTION PROBLEMS

hi guys just like to say after hours of constant resolution issues not being able to go above the classic 800x600 in full screen i got it working at 1920x1080

what i did was find Fallout4Prefs.ini in my documents under fallout4 and changed the sizeH sizeW to my native and make sure i set bFull Screen=0 to bFull Screen=1

then also went into wherever u have saved steam into in my case its programs - steam- steamapps- common- fallout 4- fallout 4 and found the same file and changed it there also,


then checked options in fallout pre menu before it loads into the game and i didnt touch a thing with aspect ratio i just unclicked borderless (even though the other one was ticked and greyed out) and it worked.. odd as hell but it did! goodluck and i hope my odd fix managed to help anyone.

ALSO there is another way, that I quickly found out as I just entered game.

IF you're an nvidia user, go to the Geforce Expierence App.
Look for fallout4, if it's not there scan for it, you can manually change your res there.

just tryed entereing right into the game without checking options as borderless resets and ticks itself again, regardless of both being ticked it entered and is playing fine in full native screen resolution! and nice nine worlds if that works i havnt had to try it!

Thanks for the help, the Nvidia thing worked for me...it's weird though, I'm still having issues with my dual set up. Thanks for helping me fix the issue with the game res though!
