Corvega Safe Key?

After doing the quest to kill the Raiders at the Corvega plant, I looted a safe key from the boss, Jared. But I can't find a safe anywhere. Has anyone found it?

How did you get the key? I can't find the way onto the platform that Jared was on. Anyone know how to get it?

found it :) Paused the game to check this thread because I jsut got the key. Unpaused the game and noticed "keep out" written on a sheet of plywood below his platform. Safe is tucked in behind the wood panel.

There's a button on both sides that closes the bridge, but I didn't notice it for a while. Took me forever to clear that jump.

there is allso a room inside the auto plant by the same name it opens a loot room inside got like 3 frags a molie some 308 and mic ammo

-_- I'm ashamed to say I gave up and used no clip to get up there. Was fed up with that gap.

allso just to throw this out there there is a secret unmarked entrance to the plant you just walk inside a broken red pipe i came at the plant from the super duper mart area so like from the southish.

OMG. I have been scouring the plant inside and out for like 2 hours. I am SO glad you posted this. I can't believe I missed that button. Thanks!!

There 2 keys one to safe near where Jared dies and other by the gun enplacement get when save Preston

Aw man...I forgot about the safe on my current playthrough! I cleared that like 10 levels ago! Now if I go back I bet it's filled with raiders again. DOH!

Well they'll be pretty much under leveled compared to you now so you can just go gun blazing up to the safe :p

There is also a magazine near the safe as well!
