Can't change FOV

Tried typing FOV 95 in console and it just reverts back to the default. Looked into the ini file and changed to 95 there and saved it and it's still stuck at 80. Is this a bug or am I having bad luck?

Alter the /ini files but make sure you set them to READ ONLY then it works

Checked off read only and it still doesn't save it.

If you use the console command in game to change the FOV it will default back to 80 when you leave the console. There's no way to stop it.

Yo everyone i think i solved the problem when you have done all of those file shenanigans,
go launch the game and reload your last save then use the console and type the desired FOV 2 times
Example: Fov 110 110
It worked for me so dont judge plz
