Why can't I use my custom keybinds to play? WHY!?
I've used arrow keys since litterally the first moment when I played my first computer game (Unreal Tourney '99), so excuse me if I'm a little frustrated that I can't rebind Numberpad 0 to Jump, like I do in litterally every game that I play. And also completely forget about using Numberpad 1 to throw grenades. How am I supposed to enjoy this game when I can't even use my own damn keybinds?

Does anyone at least know of a program that lets me rebind Numberpad 0 to the Spacebar for games? WASD just feels completely alien to me, and I refuse to use it for a game that I've been so hyped for.

+1 SouthPaw.

http://help.bethesda.net/app/fallout_feedback - I think the best results will be for us to all file our feed back with Bethesda. Steam will host our complaints, but won't use them for much. Instead we should all follow this link and Tell Bethesda that we're disatisfied with a product that is unplayable. Also. You should request your refund while you still can.

All they have to do is to unlock the numpad keys and make them mappable. I managed to make it work with my key remapper program but sometimes it just randomly stops.

If anyone found a key remapper program that works all the time let us know.

I actually got SharpKeys to work perfectly fine. The only problem I have now is, when I'm using arrow keys, I can't move around when I'm in build mode. But in all honesty, I'd say ♥♥♥♥ build mode, cause the actual gameplay is more important.

I also managed to rebind all the numpad keys to regular number keys for easy weapon hotkeys, and my use key (End) is set to the E key so that way I can easily loot/open things in menus.

I used Keyboard Remapper more and I can say it works fine aslong as you dont map anything to the numpad keys. SharpKeys directly affects windows keyboard registry so be careful people, password typing can be affected by that.

This tutorial explains a workaround for hardcoded keybinds. Hope it helps.

I caved since my refund was declined (played too long) and bought myself this today. http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Naga-Handed-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00EO2ECUY I'll just set the hard maped keys as buttons on the mouse. It's not a solution, becuase it doesn't fix the problem. But it is an effective work around. Also there are a few decent gamepads out there that are somewhat ambidextrious.
