Fist weapons+ Blacksmith

I just wanted to be sure because as i understand it fist weapons get lumped with unarmed but blacksmith says melee weapons so I didn't know if it was worth picking up if i plan on fist weapons.

fist weapon is a weapon therefor it's not unarmed :)

Power Armor is best fist weapon.

try to mod a fist weapon and see if it needs the blacksmith perk for the more "advanced" mods. I had alot of weapons nipped in the butt thanks my lack of int for the science perk.

The easy solution would be to pick it up when you want to apply a mod to a weapon and find that it requires Blacksmith, if you're worried about wasting a perk.
