Resolution
Anyone else got resolution problems?
I'm using a 1280x1024 monitor, and if I enter fullscreen,the game seems stretched,having a low-res.When I'm in windowed mode, the game is only on half of my screen.Something like this:http://imgur.com/E2E90Au.
If I edit the .ini, the game resets to its launcher's settings.
Any help?

I have the same issue with the same resolution, managed to get it working somewhat with this guide (there are two .ini files you need to edit, not just the one):

http://www.gamepur.com/guide/21111-fallout-4-pc-error-how-unlock-fps-add-add-219-support-change-fov-mouse.html

Some wonky UI behaviour and the fact that the lockpicking minigame doesn't appear on the screen, but it's a workaround (barely) until (or if) it gets fixed properly.

Same here...damn, not funny

Open Fallout4Prefs.ini in your documents (or just search for it), and change the following lines to how they are below:

bTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=XXXX
iSize W=YYYY

Here XXXX is whatever your horizontal resolution is aand YYYY is whatever your vertical resolution is. Next do the same for the second Fallout4Prefs.ini located in wherever you insalled steam, then open steamapps, then common, then Fallout 4, then Fallout 4 again.

I have a Gtx 980 and when I open options, there are no choices in resolution (meaning the area where they should be is blank). Game always plays in small (like 800x400 or something).

So frustrating.

i too have this problem. I'm using a 1280x1024 display and in full screen, it auto adjusts to 800x600, stretching the screen beyond the borders of my display. Also, everytime I start the game launcher, it reverts back to windowed mode, which only covers half the screen, forcing me to change the options everytime I start the game.
